Floral Millinery

 

Beautiful Purple Vanda Orchids and Purple Trachelium secured in Floral foam, hidden by fishnet and a Black latex Flower.

Frame hand-made, covered with Moss, Dark purple feathers, fishnet and a dried banksia.

Millinery base covered in white tulle, pearls and topped with Pink Nerines in a test tube of fresh water!


As a part of the Annual Melbourne Flower Show, In Victoria, Australia. I was lucky enough, as a student, to submit a flower stall. The theme had to be 'The opening of a business'. So i chose to do a vintage themed millinery-hat shop! I really loved making them, and will make any type upon request. 
I think they would be super cute on any special occasion, Bridesmaid's, Performance artist's, or Brides!
